REFURBISHMENT

Many components of semiconductor manufacturing equipment degrade during use and must eventually be replaced. In many cases however, a substantial savings is available by extending the component life through refurbishment. We have found several components that can be restored to like-new condition at a fraction of the cost of a new replacement. Contact GTS for more information.

• CVD Susceptor assembly
  Refurbishment of susceptors makes sense because some of the most expensive components have a very long
  life and may be reused many times, while only a few components get used up and require replacement. Thus
  refurbishment reduces cost by providing an increased materials efficiency. More information
  
  

• Anodized and Specialty Coatings
  The failure mode of these items is almost always deterioration of the anodized coating which exposes
  bare aluminum. Refurbishment is an excellent option.
  

• Optical surfaces and lenses
  Many reflective components can be renewed to their original specifications. We work with optical coating experts
  that know how to achieve the optimal coating for each application.
